Qualifications

Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings.
State electrical certification or license (Journeyman, Wireman, or equivalent).

Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning and wiring inspections.
Commission new systems and upgrades in compliance with NEC/AHJ/utility requirements.
Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and thermal imaging equipment.
Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and photo documentation.
Follow safety procedures including PPE, lockout/tagout, and fall protection.
Respond to emergency service calls and warranty repairs as needed.
Communicate with homeowners and customers regarding system status and recommendations.
Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites.

In this role, you will service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial solar energy systems, battery storage solutions, and generators. This position is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who enjoys hands‑on technical work, solving complex problems, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the transition to clean energy.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair solar panels, inverters, batteries, generators, and related equipment
Perform preventive maintenance including panel cleaning, wiring inspections, inverter testing, and battery health assessments
Commission new systems and upgrades while ensuring compliance with NEC, AHJ, and utility requirements
Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and thermal imaging equipment
Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and photo documentation
Follow all safety procedures including PPE usage, lockout/tagout processes, and fall protection requirements
Respond to emergency service calls and warranty‑related repairs as needed
Communicate effectively with homeowners and customers regarding system status and repair recommendations
Represent Otovo professionally at customer sites
