Kids for the Future is seeking an entry-level Level I Service & Support Technician in Colorado to help install, service, and maintain integrated security systems. You will assist with CCTV, access control, intercom, and related systems under a lead technician's guidance.

You will gain hands-on experience, work across varying environments, including construction sites and secure facilities, and travel to job sites as needed. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience in low voltage, electrical, or IT field service preferred.
• OSHA-10 certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Basic understanding of CCTV, access control, intercom, and related security systems.
• Foundational knowledge of computer networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, IP addressing, and DNS.
• Familiarity with conduit installation methods and cable management practices.
• Working knowledge of basic hand and power tools used in installation environments.
• Basic understanding of mechanical lock systems, including cylinders, mortise, and rim locks, as well as motorized and manual detention equipment and sliding door systems.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and follow technical instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Assist with installation, routing, and termination of wiring and cabling.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit using proper techniques.
• Mount and secure security equipment, including cameras and access control devices.
• Support installation and integration of security systems under supervision.
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, intercom, and related systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics with guidance.
• Apply basic electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles to identify malfunctions.
• Assist in completing service and maintenance tasks to minimize emergency calls.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to safety standards.
