Field Service Technician Level II - Central Ohio

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician II to join our team serving clients in Central Ohio. This role involves advanced skills, training, certifications, and leadership abilities to lead installation teams, configure and program devices, oversee system commissioning, and provide customer training. It is essential in ensuring seamless installations and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all Level I installer duties following our documentation to ensure quality standards.
• Manage project and service tickets efficiently, maintaining clear communication and prompt updates.
• Understand project scopes and service expectations, taking full accountability for tasks.
• Lead and mentor Level 1 installers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Maintain communication with Project Delivery Coordinators, Project Managers, and clients.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems to ensure successful project implementation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, focusing on leadership and communication skills.
• Perform Factory Authorized Testing (FAT) to ensure product quality.
• Configure systems and oversee successful commissioning, delivering reliable solutions.
• Accept additional duties as assigned, contributing to the team and company goals.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Hands-on field experience.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Ability to identify and use low voltage cabling.
• Knowledge of IT networking, configurations, and IP addressing.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Experience managing or supervising teams.
• Experience completing projects within scope and managing service tickets.
• Knowledge of fire, CCTV, intrusion, or nurse call systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid US Driver’s license.
