Job summary

Shine Management Inc. & Shine Systems is seeking a Level 1 Field Service Technician in Augusta, Georgia. The ideal candidate should possess mid-level technical skills and be capable of working both independently and in collaborative settings.

Responsibilities include providing Tier I and II support, performing server installations, administering systems, and troubleshooting various hardware/software. Candidates must have relevant experience and certifications, as well as an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT level II certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II support at remote field and garrison sites.
• Perform server and desktop installation and basic cabling.
• Administer desktop and server systems connected to networks.
• Manage desktop system operations including account monitoring.
• Run entire remote site independently in demanding environments.
• Maintain cryptographic devices and keys.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various hardware/software.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will demonstrate mid-level technical support skills with the ability to apply more advanced concepts and processes to daily activities, beyond just following a checklist of tasks. They require minimal guidance and direction from more senior level team members and can work effectively both individually and on teams. In order to help support uninterrupted availability of INSCOM’s Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) baseline, the Level 1 Field Service Technician will:

• Provide Tier I and II support at remote field and garrison sites
• Perform server and desktop installation, basic cabling
• Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks
• Provide desktop system management involving account monitoring, security, operating system (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions
• Be capable of running an entire remote site by themselves with demanding customers in austere or garrison locations
• Maintain and load cryptographic devices and keys
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on many types of hardware and software

Qualifications

Certifications: DoD 8570.01-M IAT level II

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of relevant experience

Clearance: Active TS/SCI
