An established industry player is seeking an entry-level Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team in the San Francisco area. Field Service Technicians Earn Money: Metrohm USA offers competitive pay, benefits and company vehicle. This hourly paid position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus payment worth up to $2000 annually.
What You Can Expect: You bring the motivation, ‘do more’ attitude, customer focus, and hands-on technical experience and we will teach you the rest. Field Service Technicians provide on-site preventative maintenance and basic service for Metrohm laboratory instruments. You will attend training classes at our headquarters in Tampa, FL.
Field Service Technicians get to travel to a diverse group of labs, meet different people and see various instrument applications at work. You will have the resources to support the client face to face, via phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
This position will support Metrohm customers in Northern California and Nevada and will be based in the Greater San Francisco area. This is a remote position that requires some overnight travel in the assigned territory. From time to time, travel outside of the assigned territory may be needed to assist in other parts of the region.

Field Service Technician Requirements: Ability to troubleshoot, test and repair chemical instrumentation equipment. Familiarity with laboratory equipment and practices. The ability to juggle/prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory is essential; positive customer relations, as well as good collaboration with all internal partners will be essential to your success.
A degree or certification in Chemistry (or related STEM field) is preferred. Hands-on work experience in a laboratory setting and experience traveling for work is a plus.
Field Service Technician Salary Range:The salary for this position is between $36.00 - $38.50/hr. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Additional requirements:
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, employment and education verification and a 10-panel drug screening, which includes marijuana, is also necessary.
