Position Summary:

Intermediate level position responsible for operational compression jobs, including compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. Provides feedback on operating policies and material forecasts. Has diagnostic and repair skills, and may assist other field positions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and perform job activities following Kodiak’s procedures and goals.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and overhauls.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Manage inventory and communicate with Supply Chain for parts.
• Ensure equipment availability of 98% or better.
• Participate in HSE meetings and follow protocols.
• Maintain units in clean condition.
• Complete reports and follow operating procedures.
• Provide 24/7 coverage, including overtime and on-call work.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Education, Experience, & Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: OEM, Trade School, or 2+ years related experience.
• Completion of Kodiak’s SSE program and 1-2 years as a Field Technician.
• 3+ years in compression processes and equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, communication, and customer focus.
• Knowledge of compressor systems and relevant certifications preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Operate heavy equipment, stand, sit, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs., work in noisy and outdoor conditions, and wear PPE.
