Position Summary:

Intermediate level position responsible for operational compression jobs, including compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. Provides feedback for operational policies and material forecasts. Requires intermediate diagnostic and repair skills, with occasional backfill and assistance to other field positions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and perform job activities per Kodiak procedures, goals, and objectives.
2. Troubleshoot complex repairs, major overhauls, and equipment operation.
3. Build and maintain customer relationships.
4. Manage inventory and communicate with Supply Chain for parts.
5. Ensure equipment availability of 98% or better.
6. Attend all HSE meetings and adhere to protocols.
7. Maintain cleanliness of assigned units.
8. Complete required reports and actions.
9. Provide 24/7 coverage, including overtime and on-call rotations.
10. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Training:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: OEM, Trade School, or 2+ years related experience.
• Completion of Kodiak’s SSE program plus 1-2 years as a Field Technician.
• 3+ years experience with compression processes and equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Competencies include teamwork, communication, analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, self-motivation, initiative, planning, problem-solving, and customer focus.
• Knowledge of compressor packages and systems.
• Understanding of HSE procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.
• Preferred certifications: Cat, Waukesha, Ariel.
• English language skills.

Physical Demands:

• Operate heavy equipment, stand, sit, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, and more infrequently.
• Work in high noise environments with PPE, and in outdoor conditions.
• Maintain various positions for tasks, communicate effectively, and use computer and office equipment.
