Job summary

EMT International is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service OEM finishing equipment at customer facilities across North America. The role emphasizes hands-on, problem-solving work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software systems.

Ideal candidates will operate independently while collaborating with EMT’s Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service teams. Up to 80% travel is expected, with opportunities for international travel.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, servicing, or maintaining industrial machinery, automation, or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission EMT International OEM finishing equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, calibrations, and equipment evaluations.
• Troubleshoot problems from the initial symptom through root cause and resolution.
• Train customer operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
