Job summary

Duravant Integrated Solutions is seeking a Field Service Tech - Installation to unload, install, and set up equipment at customer sites. The role requires strong electrical experience, proficiency with power tools, and the ability to read schematics and assembly diagrams.

Heavy travel (up to 95%) is expected, with travel, hotel, and per diem provided. The candidate will work with the team to install and test conveyor and sortation systems, ensuring all features operate as designed and meeting

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience installing or servicing material handling equipment.
• Must travel up to 95% with travel paid by the company.
• Electrical installation of material handling systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and machine drawings.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify for a US passport.

Responsibilities

• Properly, timely, and efficiently install equipment and/or upgrades at a customer’s facility.
• Must be experienced using power and hand tools for assembly of large automated systems.
• Work with team assembling, moving, and installing sorting and conveyor system equipment, sub-assemblies, modules and top-level machine systems, per engineering specs.
• Test and confirm all features and functions perform as designed on the system.
• Follow proper escalation policies and procedures.
• Monitor and test fixes to ensure problems are resolved.
• Assemble and set-up conveyor driven sortation systems; and
• Verify functioning and conformance to specifications using various hand and power tools.
