Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial equipment across North America. You will work hands-on with electro-mechanical systems, read schematics, and service equipment at client sites in Pittsburgh and other locations.

The role requires up to 75% travel (including some international assignments), strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams.
• Familiarity with machine controls/PLC systems, or willingness to learn.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and occasional international assignments.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment.

We are hiring a Field Service Technician to join our growing team! As a Field Service Technician, you will provide on-site installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment across North America. This role is ideal for candidates with strong electro-mechanical experience who enjoy hands-on work in diverse environments and solving complex technical challenges.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, relocate, calibrate, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Utilize CRM/CMMS systems to track service activity, manage work orders, and document repairs
• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support at client sites
• Travel up to 75%, including occasional international assignments
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, GED, Associate’s degree, or relevant technical certification
• Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagrams
• Familiarity with machine controls/PLC systems, or willingness to learn
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test, physical exam, background check, and drug screening
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed (with additional compensation)
