Role Summary:

The Field Service Technician III will provide hands-on technical and operational support for Reciprocating Compression equipment and utility systems at customer sites, covering commissioning, start-up, operations, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all technical areas of Field Services support.
2. Provide technical and mechanical support in various settings such as workshops, compressor stations, and process plants.
3. Perform diagnostics, including vibrations and emissions analysis.
4. Lead startup and commissioning tasks, and present results professionally to customers.
5. Travel extensively (200-300 days/year), working long hours including weekends and holidays.
6. Work in various physical conditions, including confined spaces and outdoor environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Reciprocating Compression.
• Technical education, such as an Associate’s Degree or higher, with relevant training.
• Strong safety, service orientation, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Proficiency in technical diagnostics and documentation.
• Familiarity with OEM standards and industry practices.

Additional Requirements:

• Advanced technical knowledge of engines and compressors, including specific product lines.
• Mastery of shop math, computer skills, and documentation standards.
• Leadership skills and ability to train or mentor others.
