Hammond Power Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to travel across North America and internationally, diagnosing issues, providing technical solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service in the field.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma, degree, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience servicing transformers, switchgear, power distribution equipment.
• Strong testing and measurement skills with electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel extensively, including international travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Travel across North America and internationally to support customers.
• Diagnose issues and provide technical solutions for transformer installations.
• Build trust with customers through professionalism and expertise.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality specialists, and other field technicians.
• Mentor junior technicians and share knowledge.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting in the field.
