Job summary

Watlow is a global leader in thermal solutions seeking a Field Service Technician II to commission, troubleshoot, and maintain Watlow products at customer sites. You will travel frequently to install, upgrade, and train customer staff, ensuring uptime and safety while wiring, programming, and validating thermal systems.

You should have an electrical/controls background (0–2 years), strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel up to 75% including overnights.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in electrical/mechanical/controls or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, process controls and wiring fundamentals.
• Experience with on-site troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot industrial heaters, sensors, controllers, and power panels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field equipment, controls, and integration issues.
• Perform maintenance, programming, and validation of thermal system installations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to customers’ teams.
• Prepare service reports and documentation, manage spare parts and tools.
