Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is seeking a Field Service Technician II for on-site service in Spokane Valley, WA. Under general supervision, you will perform moderately complex repairs, installations and maintenance for hydraulic and related equipment at customer sites.

Duties include diagnostics, customer training, and on-call support, with opportunity to lead small projects and mentor junior technicians while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Technical degree required.
• 3–5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site service, repairs, and upgrades for clients on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Install, diagnose, repair and support equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide on repairs or parts.
• Provide technical analysis and guidance to customers.
• Lead small projects at customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Train customers on operation and maintenance.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians.
