Job summary

Service Compression, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II in Midland, Texas to troubleshoot and repair gas engines and compressors in field operations. The role requires reading English-language manuals and working with Caterpillar equipment in a demanding industrial setting.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to call-outs, and maintain strong customer communications while adhering to HSE standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, panel boards, skid wiring.
• Understanding of HSE procedures and regulations.
• General understanding of customers' production equipment.
• Knowledge of how a compressor package works.
• Ability to follow maintenance checklists.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance to standard with minimal assistance.
• Perform call outs without assistance.
• Demonstrate high level customer service and communication.
• Read, write and speak English for work orders and manuals.
• Use vendor programs including Cat ET, Cat SIS, Google Chrome and Outlook.
• Submit required documentation through company software timely.
