Job summary

Service Compression, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in Pecos, Texas (on-site) to troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar engines and Ariel/Gemini compressors. The role requires knowledge of natural gas compressors and supports field production.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to call outs, and maintain accurate documentation using Cat ET, Cat SIS, and standard office software. Strong English communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gas engines and compressors, electrical systems, and panel boards.
• Familiar with HSE procedures and regulations.
• Understanding of the operation of compressor packages.
• Ability to read work orders and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance to standard with minimal assistance.
• Perform Call Outs without assistance.
• Have high level customer service and communication skills.
• Read, write and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.).
• Use computer skills, including vendor specific programs (Cat ET, Cat SIS, Google Chrome and Outlook).
• Regularly complete and submit company required documentation through company software in a timely manner.
