Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician to cover the Austin market. You will install and maintain voice and data networks, servers, and hardware across varied customer sites.

The role requires travel to multiple sites, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and after-hours on-call with overtime opportunities. Paid training and a company vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of networking hardware and topologies.
• Cisco CLI familiarity and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel and work after hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephone equipment and circuits.
• Support retail technology systems (POS, digital signage, video surveillance).
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Site surveys and site audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers, cables and hardware.
• Install fixed wireless antennas, cables and hardware.
• Accurate and timely submission of all job-related documents.
