Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will cover the Columbus, OH area, providing installation and maintenance services to voice and data networks, servers, computer systems, retail technology systems, and other network-based hardware.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Certifications in CompTIA, Cisco, Cabling or PBX are a plus.
• Attend hardware and cabling training at Tech Center in Strongsville, OH.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain routing, switching, and WAPs.
• Install and support telephony equipment and circuits.
• Support POS, digital signage, and video surveillance systems.
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Conduct site surveys and audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless antennas.
• Submit job documents accurately and timely.
• Maintain company vehicle, inventory, and tools.
