Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventive maintenance for conveyor systems at customer locations. You will diagnose mechanical issues, read schematics, and provide frontline customer support while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires a technical degree and likely MSHA certification; experience with belt lines in mining or related industries is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic hand tools and measurement reading required.
• Strong math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to lift 40–75 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain conveyor belts and mechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Perform on-site belt installation, splicing, and preventive maintenance.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
