Job summary

NCR Atleos is seeking a field-based service technician to install, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment in a defined territory. You will handle ATMs and self-checkout systems, perform maintenance and overhauls, and ensure secure remote access and network stability.

Candidates should have A+ and CompTIA N+ certifications or equivalent experience, with basic PC/electronic skills, and willingness to travel. Local driving and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing electromechanical equipment, ATMs and self-checkout systems.
• Proficiency with imaging software and accessing remote systems.
• Familiarity with servers, networks and basic electronics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.

Job description

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment like ATMs and self-checkout systems within an assigned territory
• Perform maintenance repair and system overhauls
• Manage everything from network faults and traffic, to configuration, security, and remote system access

Requirements

• Local candidate to specific geographic area
• Authorized to work in the US
• At least 19 years of age
• Have a valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR Atleos fleet requirements
• PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system familiarity
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Prolonged travel with driving several hours per day
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Carrying and lifting tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, working with your hands, and repetitively grasping and manipulating objects of varying size
• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software (preferred)
• A+ Certification, CompTIA, N+ Certification (preferred)
• One or more years of related experience (preferred)
