Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Field Service Technician II to service and repair printers, copiers, and related office technology at customer sites in Fishers, Indiana.

The role includes on-site installations, upgrades, and training, with a focus on keeping devices running smoothly for clients. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in technical repair or service of office equipment, strong electro-mechanical aptitude, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro-mechanical aptitude are required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do

What you’ll bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro-mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $20.00 to $22.00, depending on experience.
• $1,000 sign on bonus.
• Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus - up to $6,000 per year-$450 per month, plus an accelerator.
• Fleet vehicle and gas card when available; Service Mileage Reimbursement Plan
