Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician II to service and repair printers, copiers, and related office technology in Fishers, Indiana. You will diagnose issues, perform installations, upgrades, and retrofits, and complete service calls while managing your schedule across the territory.

The role requires hands-on work, a drive for learning, and direct customer interaction. A High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of technical repair experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
• High School Diploma or GED required; relevant education/certifications may be considered.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, lifting, and reaching tasks.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician II in Fishers, Indiana.

You’ll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you’ll do

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations


• Provide product training and support to customers


• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.


• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively


• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance

• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

What You’ll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED


• 3+ years of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products


• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience


• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude


• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching


• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly Range: $20.00 to $22.00, depending on experience.


• Monthly Performance Based Technician Bonus - up to $6,000 per year—$450 per month, plus an accelerator.


• Fleet vehicle and gas card when available; Service Mileage Reimbursement Plan
