Job summary

Baxter Healthcare is hiring a Field Service Technician I located in the Augusta area. You will perform readiness, cleaning, disinfecting, and functional checks on medical equipment, both Baxter and non-Baxter products, ensuring patient readiness and service readiness for healthcare settings.

The role requires on-call availability (including weekends/holidays), valid driver's license, and physical capability to handle up to 1680 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
• Troubleshoot devices and repair malfunctioning components.
• Use the appropriate tools in making required adjustments and repairs.
• Provide on-call coverage, up to 24/7 basis including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.
• Load, unload, and remove medical products, weighing up to 1680 pounds.
• Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contract.
• Safely operate box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000 pound truck.
