Job summary

EnerStar Solutions is hiring a Field Service Technician to support our clients with rig moves, new setups, rig releases, and infield repairs, delivering high-quality service with clear communication.

You’ll travel to various job sites, install and repair flooring, perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks, and uphold strict safety standards while working with the Field Service Supervisor.

Qualifications

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform job duties outdoors.
Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring tasks.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Strong safety mindset and adherence to PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety and follow client protocols on every job site.
Communicate clearly with Lead Service Tech and Field Service Supervisor.
Install and repair flooring, perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks.
Conduct infield repairs and routine maintenance for clients.
Interface with clients on-site and obtain sign-off on tickets.
Maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Position Summary
EnerStar is hiring a Field Service Technician to join our results-driven team. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines supporting our clients with rig moves, new setups, rig releases, and infield repairs—making a direct impact every day. You’ll work closely with our Field Service Supervisor to deliver high-quality service and clear communication to clients. Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Prioritize safety in all tasks, following company and client safety protocols.
Champion EnerStar’s core values (integrity, collaboration, innovation) in everything you do.
Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks.
Install and repair flooring as needed to maintain facilities.
Handle basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting.
Complete painting projects to keep equipment and facilities in top shape.
Communicate regularly with the Lead Service Tech and Field Service Supervisor.
Interface with clients on-site to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
Obtain client sign-off on all service tickets before leaving each job site.
Maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality on every job.
Promote quality assurance and a positive company image to clients.
Assist with other relevant tasks as assigned.

Note: This role requires willingness to travel to job sites as needed.

Job Demands & Work Environment:

Physical Requirements: You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and handle frequent bending, climbing, walking, and standing for extended periods, including working in confined spaces.
Medical Fitness: The work is physically demanding and often outdoors, so you need to be medically fit to handle various conditions. (Pre-employment and periodic medical evaluations may be required.)
Work Conditions: Expect outdoor work in extreme weather (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind) and exposure to dust, noise, and other environmental factors.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (What You Bring):

Willingness and ability to properly wear all required PPE (personal protective equipment).
Basic carpentry or general “handyman” skills (desired but not required).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Stamina to work in extreme weather conditions and challenging environments.
Availability for on-call duty; able to work nights and weekends when needed.
Willingness to travel out of town as required.

Physical strength to lift 50–75 lbs on a regular basis.
