Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician I to join the team in Gluckstadt, MS. You will repair and service office technology, provide customer training, and support installations and upgrades in your territory.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, problem solving, and direct customer interaction, with opportunities to learn across leading office technologies and MPS environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Experience with document management systems, printers, and related devices is a plus.
• Relevanteducation, certifications, or internships may be considered in lieu of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations
• Provide product training and support to customers
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

• Experience with document management systems, multifunction printers (MFPs), print devices, and/or 6 months of Shop Tech experience is a plus
• Intermediate computer skillsandstrongelectro-mechanicalaptitude
• Ability to lift 50lbs.andperformfrequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positionsrequiring theuse ofapersonalvehicle forcompany business

Earn Well

• Hourly pay of $17.00 - $20.00, depending on experience
