Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is hiring a Field Service Technician I to service printers, copiers, and office tech in the Pottstown area. You will diagnose issues, perform installations and upgrades, and train customers to maximize uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Experience with document management systems, multifunction printers (MFPs), print devices, and related products is a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills and electro-mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Valid drivers license and auto insurance for using a personal vehicle for company business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba, dealer, and manufacturer training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures

• Ability to lift 50lbs.andperformfrequent bending, lifting, and reaching

• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positionsrequiring theuse ofapersonalvehicle forcompany business

Earn Well

• Hourly pay of $18.50 - $23.50, depending on experience
