Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician I in Gluckstadt, MS to service printers, copiers, and office technology at customer sites, troubleshoot issues, install upgrades, and keep Managed Print Services environments running smoothly.

We value hands-on problem solving and customer interaction. The ideal candidate has 1 year of technical repair-related experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license with the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment.
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships may be considered in lieu of the required experience.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations.
• Provide product training and support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and perform installations, upgrades, modifications, removals, and retrofits.
• Complete service calls based on priority while managing your schedule effectively.
• Maintain parts inventory, tools, and test equipment, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete required Toshiba training, and rebuild components in the shop as needed.
• Accurately document service activities and follow safety policies and procedures.

Join Toshiba America Business Solutions as a Field Service Technician I in Gluckstadt, MS.

You'll work with industry-leading office technology while supporting customers throughout your assigned territory. From troubleshooting and repairs to installations and upgrades, you'll play a key role in keeping multifunction printers, copiers, and Managed Print Services (MPS) environments running at their best.

What you'll do

• Maintain, service, and repair printers, copiers, and other office technology at customer locations

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repair, service, installation, training, or support of copier and office equipment, Photo ID systems/software, printers, ID Badge systems, fingerprint equipment, or comparable products
• Relevant education, certifications, or internships in related fields may be considered in lieu of the required experience
• Experience with document management systems, multifunction printers (MFPs), print devices, and/or 6 months of Shop Tech experience is a plus
• Intermediate computer skills and strong electro‑mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage per Toshiba policy for positions requiring the use of a personal vehicle for company business

Earn Well

• Hourly pay of $17.00 - $20.00, depending on experience
