Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Service Technician to perform service on auxiliary (after-market) mobile hydraulic equipment. The role involves repairing, maintaining, welding and fabricating on customer equipment at the shop, diagnosing issues, and developing standardized repair procedures for warranty issues.

Flexibility for other duties as assigned is required. Ideal candidates have advanced electrical experience, welding skills preferred, a valid driver’s license with clean record, and the

Qualifications

• Must have advanced electrical experience.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel overnight and/or work non-traditional schedules as workload requires.
• Must have own tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete repair, maintenance, welding and fabrication on returned customer equipment at shop as needed
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Develop standardized repair procedures to be applied to duplicate warranty issues
• Other duties as assigned
