Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC, food service equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems across Berwick and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania. You will operate from home base, receive a company vehicle and tools, and service multiple store locations with minimal on-call requirements.

The role requires EPA Universal 608 certification, 3+ years in commercial HVAC and cooking/refrigeration repair, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• EPA Universal 608 certification is required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Minimum 3 years of repairing commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings; OSHA 10 training provided.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment per warranty and industry standards.
• Communicate repair status with supervisor and store management.
• Complete same-day work order notes and submit to supervisor with proper charge allocations.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards.
• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensers and fuel security systems (training provided).
• Inspect interiors/exteriors for safety and maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, split systems, ice machines, and food-service equipment.
• Ensure repairs comply with Pilot Company regulations and OSHA standards.
• Model company values and support guest and team member experiences.
• Follow all company policies and safety standards.
