Job summary

ILG is seeking a Customer Service Technician to deliver high-quality warranty repairs and product installations across occupied homes and new construction environments. You will support both customer service and production operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to ILG quality standards.

The role requires strong communication, technical skill, and professionalism while operating in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience in construction or related trades with increasing responsibility.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance as required by state law.
• Ability to perform repairs and service work in occupied homes.
• Strong verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in flooring, cabinetry, or countertops is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, touch-ups, and installation-related tasks across multiple trades.
• Perform repairs and replacements in occupied homes following ILG standards and safety requirements.
• Handle material logistics and coordination for production installs.
• Maintain inventory of parts, tools, and materials for field operations.
• Travel to local customer locations to perform field service, repairs, and support.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams about scope, timelines, and expectations.
• Organize workflow and document repairs, materials, and appointments accurately.
• Confirm and document completed appointments promptly and accurately.
• Provide feedback to internal teams on product quality and installation methods.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
