Job summary

SteelcoBelimed AG is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to hospital sites for installation, service and maintenance of our sterilization solutions. The role requires mechanical aptitude, strong customer service, and willingness to travel the Oakland/Richmond region with occasional training travel.

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical wiring and controls, diagnostic tools, and calibration equipment, plus the ability to read P&ID and electrical

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial electrical wiring and controls.
• Experience troubleshooting water and pneumatic process controls.
• Experience using diagnostic test equipment and precision calibration tools.
• Ability to read and red-line P&ID and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions using test instruments.
• Measure and adjust instrumentation using calibration equipment.
• Install, modify and repair SteelcoBelimed and/or 3rd party equipment.
• Manage customer base and balance PM workload with repairs.
• Demonstrate proper usage and application of equipment to customers.
• Conduct product in-service trainings as required.
• Complete service reports, timesheets and parts lists timely and accurately.
• Maintain organized work vehicle with tools, manuals and parts.
• Travel within Oakland/Richmond area; occasional overnight travel during training.
