Job summary

4Rivers Equipment is seeking skilled Service Technicians to keep customers' heavy equipment running smoothly. You will perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics with a focus on quality and safety.

You'll mentor apprentices, participate in ongoing training, and ensure our trucks and tools are well-maintained. A High School diploma or GED is required, with John Deere experience preferred but not required.

• John Deere experience preferred but not required.
• Vocational or technical degree, or equivalent training.
• Strong communication skills and self-motivated spirit.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.
• Engine rebuilds, axle reconditions, hydraulic valves and pump work, and transmission repairs.
• Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble components or parts.
• Keep meticulous records of hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
• Mentor and guide other technicians and apprentices.
• Attend company-sponsored training to level up skills and expertise.
• Maintain service trucks and company assets in top condition.
• Prioritize safety when using tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.
• Embody 4Rivers Equipment standards and values.
• Tackle any other assigned tasks with efficiency and professionalism.

Position Summary

Your Epic Duties:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of heavy equipment.

• Remove, disassemble, clean, repair, recondition, assemble components or parts.
• Keep meticulous records of equipment hours, serial numbers, complaints, causes, and corrections.
• Be a mentor and guide for other technicians and apprentice technicians.
• Attend company sponsored training to level up your skills, knowledge, and expertise.
• Keep our service trucks and all company assets in top-notch shape.
• Always put safety first - whether you're operating power tools, lifts, welders, or cranes.

Education and Qualifications
