Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company is seeking a qualified technician to repair construction machines, component assemblies, and parts in the shop and in the field. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, ordering parts, writing technical reports, and warranty reporting while maintaining company assets.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, or an Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or four years of apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology or 4 years of apprenticeship.
• Technician classification based on experience, knowledge and competence.

Responsibilities

• Repairs equipment and components, including developing a repair plan.
• Determines necessary parts, materials, tooling, etc.
• Performs repairs properly and safely with QA testing.
• Maintains required reports for parts, tooling usage, and work orders.
• Communicates repair progress to supervisor; retrieves parts and tools.
