RECO Equipment, Inc. is a full-line distributor providing heavy and compact equipment for sale, service, and rental.

The Field Service Technician will repair and maintain equipment at branch facilities and at customer sites, reading hydraulic and electrical schematics and coordinating with customers to deliver high-quality service. The role requires strong teamwork, safety awareness, and willingness to travel for on-site service.

Qualifications

• Field Service Technician responsibilities include repair and maintenance of heavy equipment at branch locations and on customer sites.
• The role requires reading hydraulic and electrical schematics to diagnose issues.
• Candidates should communicate effectively with customers and work well in a team.
• Must have own tools to complete jobs and be willing to travel as needed.
• Position is safety sensitive and requires lifting (10-100 lbs) regularly.
• Readiness to operate a forklift and perform field service tasks.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS (Skills, Technology, and Physical Requirements)

• Valid driver’s license and must meet General Liability driving requirements in order to operate a company vehicle when necessary.
• Pass a DOT physical
• Lift parts (10-100 lbs) regularly
• Have own tools necessary to complete job
• Operation of forklift required
• Climbing stairs/ladders to reach all portions of equipment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to travel as needed for jobs and schooling
• The position of Field Service Technician is classified as a safety sensitive position.
