Job summary

HD Fowler Company in Vancouver, WA is seeking a full-time Service Technician to independently manage and deliver a range of water and wastewater services from our local branch. You will perform HDPE fusion welding, maintain hydraulic equipment, read construction plans, prepare quotes, and bill sales orders while prioritizing safety and customer communication.

Qualifications

• HDPE and buried utilities experience a plus.
• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record; ability to obtain Class A CDL later.
• Able to lift 75 lbs daily.
• Medically able to obtain state/federal safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform HDPE Fusion welding with hydraulic and non-hydraulic equipment.
• Maintain hydraulic equipment and associated gear (pipe stands, rollers, trailers).
• Perform fire hydrant repair, sewer testing, vacuum testing, and related services.
• Communicate with customers and schedule appointments.
• Read construction plans and provide material takeoff quotes.
• Assist in pricing for services and bill sales orders to completion.
