Job summary

Raymond Central is seeking a Field Service Technician in Kansas City, MO to support forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems at customer locations. The role offers competitive pay, extensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

This is a full-time, hourly position with potential overtime based on customer demands. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical components.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment at the customer location.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and related equipment per guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to procedures and cost guidelines.
• Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately.
• Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used.
• Drive and work safely per policies and procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Maintain the van’s interior equipment and manuals.
• Attend meetings, training classes and company activities.
• Keep a personal set of tools as required.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure high-quality customer service.
