Job summary

Raymond Central is seeking a Field Service Technician in Kansas City, MO, to service forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems at customer sites. The role emphasizes hands-on mechanical and electrical work, with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

The position is full-time, hourly, with potential overtime based on customer demands. Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background, the ability to read schematics, and experience with industrial equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED.
• At least two years of hands-on technical experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical components.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or work on elevated platforms that may be 15’ to 30’ in height.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of industrial electricity.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and support material handling equipment at customer locations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts and other equipment per guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment following procedures and cost guidelines.
• Complete required paperwork and time records accurately.
• Account for parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.
• Drive and work safely per company and customer policies.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Maintain the van’s interior equipment and service manuals.
