Job summary

Abel Womack is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and related automated material handling equipment across the Northeast USA. The role involves strong customer interaction, troubleshooting, and hands-on mechanical/electrical work.

Candidates will travel within an assigned territory, use a tablet for work orders, and participate in ongoing training. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and/or electrical equipment.
• Read schematics, maps, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ability to communicate regularly by phone and in person with team members, parts reps, technical specialists, dispatch, lead service techs, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Travel within an assigned territory to install, maintain, and repair Raymond battery-powered lift trucks and other automated material handling equipment.
• Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve equipment challenges.
• Apply and grow mechanical and technical skills through continuous training.
• Submit electronic work orders using a company-provided tablet.
• Represent Abel Womack with professionalism and excellent customer service.
