Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Buffalo team.

You’ll travel to customer locations in a company service truck, diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment, and help keep our customers’ businesses moving.We’re looking for technicians with experience diagnosing and repairing forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel trucks, automotive equipment, hydraulic systems, or other mechanical equipment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical repair experience in forklifts, heavy equipment, diesel, automotive, hydraulics or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily schedule.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs at customer locations.
• Service a wide range of material handling equipment—from forklifts to tractor trailers.
• Work independently while staying connected with our service and dispatch team.
• Communicate with customers about repairs and equipment needs.
• Maintain accurate service records using mobile technology.
• Keep the service truck stocked, organized and ready to go.
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure equipment operates safely.

What We’re Looking For

Forklift experience is a plus, but it is not the only experience we consider.

• $23–$35/hour, based on experience and certifications
