Job summary

BMS is seeking a Filing Room Equipment Service Technician to service and upgrade saw filing room equipment across the Southern U.S., with extensive travel required. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot electromechanical systems, and communicate effectively with customers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma, degree or trade qualification in a mechanical or electromechanical field.
• Electromechanical installation experience.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, drives and lubricating systems.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Computer experience writing reports.
• Ability to travel extensively in the Southern U.S.
• Knowledge of saw filing room equipment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Service, install and upgrade saw filing room equipment at customer sites.
• Complete service calls and site visits in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and drive systems.
• Prepare service documentation and reports; communicate with customers and team.
