Job summary

TDS Telecom is seeking a Field Service Technician in Great Falls, MT. You will perform on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecom products while engaging customers to explain and sell services.

Reside within 60 minutes of the Great Falls warehouse and be prepared for on-call shifts. Responsibilities include identifying and repairing faults across various telecom systems, maintaining records, and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel and be on-call.
• Background check may be required by customer.
• DOT requirements knowledge for operating vehicles.
• A+ certification and networking experience.
• Basic MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair customer premises equipment and related network gear.
• Identify defective cable locations and perform repairs on buried, aerial, or underground lines.
• Provide excellent customer service and educate customers on TDS products and services.
• Assist with record-keeping and updating network documentation and cross connects.
• Support on-call/standby duties and overtime as needed.
