Job summary

OWL Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and install various electronic equipment, including point‑of‑sale systems and EV charging stations, at customer sites in Jackson, MS. The role requires troubleshooting, maintenance and timely response to service requests.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong problem‑solver mindset, and the ability to travel and work on an on‑call schedule.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Strong safety adherence and willingness to follow protocols.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–40% overnight.
• Experience with POS systems (Verifone/NCR) is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electro‑mechanical devices including POS equipment.
• Tests EV charging stations and related equipment.
• Reviews work orders and manuals to perform maintenance accurately.
• Liaises with customers and completes service requests promptly.
• Travel may be required to install or upgrade systems.
• Utilizes testing devices and tools to diagnose issues.
