Job summary

Cencora's AmerisourceBergen operation seeks a Service Technician to support Micro Weigh Systems across the Dumas, Stratford, and Dalhart region. The role involves preventative maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and hands-on electrical, plumbing, welding, and fabrication work.

You will train customer staff, manage FDA documentation, and participate in emergency coverage with occasional overnight travel; a High School diploma, driver’s license, and ability to lift 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, welding and fabrication is required.
• Experience with feed yard operations is helpful.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and set up computer programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer software.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Must be able to obtain a health card.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and influence with customers and sustain relationships with integrity and dedication to the customer.
• Preventative maintenance, onsite and remote service and support of the Micro Weigh Systems and other technologies.
• Optimize the customer benefit of our systems and solutions.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Install parts, electrical work, plumbing, welding and fabrication.
• Transport and deliver equipment to customers’ sites.
• Maintain and adjust dosage for feed additives and rations/diets using the Micro Weigh System software per specifications.
• Perform standard operational tests under protocol guidelines with checklists.
• Maintain FDA files for customers and train them on FDA guidelines.
• Train customer staff on equipment operation and inventory control procedures and FDA guidelines.
• Educate customer management on new products and programs to drive sales.
• Cover Emergency Service Calls and rotate holidays/weekends; overnight travel required.
• Lift up to 100 lbs.
