Fike Corporation, a rapidly growing international manufacturer of explosion protection and related equipment, seeks a Field Service Technician 1 for the Houston area. This entry-level role emphasizes learning and development while providing electrical and mechanical support on maintenance and troubleshooting.

Travel 65-75% nationwide, performing on-site services and keeping detailed reports. Work under supervision with emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical or electrical aptitude.
• Ability to travel 65-75% nationwide.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Passport and license to drive.

Responsibilities

• Learn and practice Fike Core Values: Focus on customers, respect, teamwork, accountability, and innovation.
• Assist with projects relating to Fike supplied equipment.
• Assist with job site problem analysis and on-site troubleshooting.
• Travel with team members to various facilities nationwide as required.
• Document issues and findings and communicate effectively to required groups.
• Prepare reports on work performed using the company field service platform.
