Pillar Technologies is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support for our Surface Treatment and Induction Sealing product lines. The role combines electrical and mechanical troubleshooting with direct customer interaction.

Responsibilities include equipment startup, installation, diagnosis, repairs, maintenance, and customer training, with travel to customer facilities as needed. Excellent communication and problem-solving are required.

Qualifikationen

• Two-year degree preferred in Electronics/Electrical Technology/Electromechanical Technology or related field.
• Relevant technical experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional technical support to customers by phone, email, virtually, and on-site.
• Start up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Pillar equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and determine root cause and corrective action.
• Train customer maintenance and operations on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of service activities and resolutions.
