Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced field service technician to troubleshoot and repair digital printing equipment, conduct routine maintenance, and train on-site staff. The role includes supporting in-warranty and service-contract scenarios and coordinating with riggers for equipment installation.

Candidates should bring strong customer relations, solid communication, and documentation skills, with 5–10 years of field service or related experience.

Qualifications

• Technical degree is a plus, but not required.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• 5 to 10 years of field service experience, or related work experience.
• Ability to travel with overnight hotel stays at approx. 50% to 75% of the time.
• Willing to follow strict safety guidelines.
• Ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Clean driving record, company car is included.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mechanical / Electrical troubleshooting, repairing, conduct maintenance & training on Digital printing equipment.
• In Warranty, Charge Service or Service Contract situations.

• Perform inspections on equipment and complete the proper documentation and attaching photographs.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner (i.e., expenses, time sheets, escalation reports, online training courses, car maintenance etc.)
