Heidelberg USA is seeking a Field Service Mechatronic Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and train customers on Heidelberg Digital Jetfire products (Gallus One / Labelfire). The role requires hands-on work with mechanical and electrical systems and strong customer service skills.

Based in Chicago, IL, or St. Louis, MO, you will travel up to 75% with potential overnight stays, follow safety guidelines, and complete all documentation promptly.

Competenze

• Technical degree is a plus, but not required
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required
• 5 to 10 years of field service experience, or related work experience
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Good personality for customer relations
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Moderate PC skills, i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft apps
• Ability to travel with overnight hotel stays at approx. 50% to 75% of the time.
• Willing to follow strict safety guidelines
• Ability to pass background and drug screen
• Clean driving record, company car is included

• Work with assigned qualified riggers to install new or used equipment that are sales generated. Also, the same upon customer request regarding equipment moves.

• Complete all paperwork in a timely manner (i.e., expenses, time sheets, escalation reports, online training courses, car maintenance etc.)

Field Service Technician, Digital Jetfire

What we are looking for:

We are looking to employ a Field Service Mechatronic Technician. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair work and customer training on all Heidelberg Digital products (primary Gallus One / Labelfire equipment ). Technicians take ownership of each assignment and elevate to second level when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and closure of the job.

Pay Range:

$30 - $40 per hour
