Job summary

Sage Rental Services is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join the Carlsbad team. This hands-on role involves inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing Sage pumps and related equipment at customer sites across the region.

You will troubleshoot diesel engines, perform preventive maintenance, and support customers with safe operation guidance while ensuring service calls are completed efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications

• Diesel-powered equipment experience.
• Experience with pumps and rotating equipment.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, diesel engines, and related rental equipment in the field.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine service on rental equipment.
• Respond to customer service calls and minimize downtime.
• Install, start up, test, and support pumping equipment at customer locations.
• Document repairs, maintenance, parts, and service performed.
