Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team. This role involves performing major mechanical work on gas and diesel engines, troubleshooting electrical and hydraulic systems, and ensuring our equipment is in top-notch condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct shop-based repairs and provide maintenance service on customer equipment.
  • Travel to customer locations for on-site service as needed.
  • Accurately diagnose equipment problems and recommend effective repairs.
  • Identify and procure necessary parts and supplies for repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working under and around equipment.
  • Meet deadlines and schedules for completing work assignments.
  • Operate a forklift for heavy equipment handling and assist in loading/unloading machinery.
  • Maintain accurate records of work orders, including time, materials used, and services performed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in CIH (or equivalent) repair training.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Work Environment: This full-time position operates in both shop and field environments, with exposure to various weather conditions and uneven surfaces. The role requires regular communication with team members, standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks. The ability to lift at least 25 pounds routinely is necessary.

Schedule: Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
