Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to travel to customer sites to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered and electrical equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.

This role requires hands-on experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, and high-voltage environments (480V–4160V), with the ability to diagnose issues and perform field repairs independently while communicating clearly with customers about issues and solutions.

Qualifications

2–3 years hands-on experience with diesel engines and equipment.
2–3 years troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to safely work with high-voltage equipment (480V–4160V).
Experience diagnosing issues and performing field repairs independently.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in field environments.
Experience with compressors and HVAC systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose issues and communicate solutions with customers.
Perform routine maintenance and service calls in the field.
Work in dynamic environments with frequent travel.
